3.0 SALARY INCREASE

1.1 While it is not mandatory to increase the salary of employees, it still more beneficial for the company to increase the salary at least once a year, just to cover for the inflation rate. In the Philippines, the average inflation rate is between 3% and 5%. Thus, companies may increase the salary of all their employees by at least 3%, every January.
