1.1 Employees are entitled to one (1) personal day, for every month they work. These earned leave credits may be used for any of the following:

  • Vacation Leave;
  • Sick Leave;
  • Birthday Leave;
  • Bereavement Leave – for the death of immediate family members;
  • Marriage Leave;
  • Paternity Leave; and/or
  • Emergency Leave.

1.2 Employees who wish to use their earned leave credits may submit an application, for approval of their Team Leave, at least three (3) working days prior to the intended date of leave, using the LEAVE APPLICATION (FTF-MBA-F-015).

1.3 For Sick Leave or Emergency Leave, the employee shall inform their Team Lead by 10:00 am, PH time that they cannot report to work. They shall submit the LEAVE APPLICATION (FTF-MBA-F-015) when they returned to work.

1.4 Only the following shall be considered as valid excuses for Emergency Leave:

  • Legitimate wife’s child delivery/miscarriage;
  • Accident;
  • Sudden illness of an immediate family member or situations requiring medical assistance;
  • Major calamities/force majeure in the area of residence; and/or
  • Other similar cases to be determined by Management as emergency in nature.
